Cheap Perfumes.. Dozens of Money Changers!

Ran out of Singapore Dollars?  There's a gazillion money changers all around the island especially in the central area.  But as far as I know, I always get the best exchange rate in this place along Orchard popular among the Filipinos working in Singapore called Lucky Plaza.

There's dozens of money changers in this place and most of them will change money from almost any currency to Singapore dollars.  Just make sure to check at least 5 of the Money Changers in this area and compare the rates.

Money changers are usually located at the ground floor and the basement of Lucky Plaza.  My favorite one is at the ground floor.  Just turn right upon entering from the main entrance and its the first money changer shop you will see, i think they also sell cloths.  Make sure to count your money, ask for the current rate first and how much SGD you'll get.  Bring your own calculator just to be sure or just use your phone's calculator.  You can also bargain with these money changers although most of the time they will just go with the rates posted on their wall.  Ask for the receipt!

As to perfumes, theres also a lot of shops in Lucky Plaza selling all types of colognes and perfumes and they are very very cheap!  They even sell testers that is almost half the original price.  A lot of locals are saying that they are fake, but I can personally say that its AUTHENTIC!  Well, you can try for yourself.  I'm sure you know how a fake perfume smells like compared to the original.

Testers don't come with the original box, who cares, unless you collect the boxes.. LOL!  But seriously, you will get great bargains on perfumes in Lucky Plaza.  They are having all sorts of promotions all the time, just ask the sales ladies about their current promotion.  Go around and do a canvas of the prices first, some shops sells cheaper than others depending on the brand of perfume you are looking for.  Most of these shops accept credit cards.
