Make sure to wait for hourly specials with big big discounts.  It is advisable not to bring your kids along as the venue will be very crowded and I am dead serious when i say CROWDED.  Do a bit of research about the gadget you are planning to buy before going to the venue so you won't spend a lot of time asking for the specs, features, etc.  Always ask for freebies!

Credit Cards and Cash are accepted on most if not all of the stalls.  If you see something that you want to buy, buy it!  Stocks are limited.  If you can, visit the venue on afternoon to do a canvas of the prices, the venue usually is not so crowded during Thursday.

If you are a tourist, make sure to ask for GST REFUND slips!  For more information about GST REFUND click here.

This site usually posts exhibitors, brochures etc..  http://blog.bootstrike.com/

Tourists are also advised to check their respective customs regulations on Electronics.  If you are buying a laptop or digital camera, it is recommended that you remove them from the box and declare it as used.  The customs in some countries might charge you duties and taxes if you declare them as brand new.  Tourists are not advised to buy bulky items like Printers, Desktops, LED/LCD TVs as you might have problems when you go back to your country unless you are willing to pay the corresponding duties and taxes in your country.
