The Merlion is no doubt the most photographed and popular icon in Singapore.  A trip to the Merlion Park is a must for every tourist coming to Singapore for the first time.  A mythical creature with the head of a lion and body of a fish, This iconic structure has ever since became the trademark symbol of Singapore.

I love drinking coffee!  I start and end my day with a nice cup of drip from the good old coffee maker or Starbucks back in Manila.  Never thought I'd sip a better one until the day I set foot in Singapore and tried their famous KOPI!

hawker; One who sells goods aggressively, especially by calling out.
hawker; a person who travels from place to place selling goods.
