Family Theme Park and Zoo Itinerary 3D2N

You can't squeeze everything in 3 days and 2 nights so you have to plan and schedule your trip properly.  A trip as hectic as this will also be very tiring, so you must rest once in a while.  Do not force yourself to see and experience everything or you'll end up not enjoying your trip to Singapore at all.

Pack your luggage with the essentials good for 3 days.  I strongly suggest wearing shorts/bermudas and a shirt.  Wear your most comfortable shoes as well cause you and your family will be doing a lot of walking.  Don't forget your digital camera, video camera, chargers, mobile phone etc..  It will also be nice if you can bring a portable tripod.  Prepare a few tablets of medicine like biogesic, neozep, diatabs etc.  That's it!  You are now ready for your trip to Singapore!

Upon arrival to any of Changi Airport Terminals, Prepare at least S$30.00 for cab fair to your hotel.  Most taxis in Singapore only allow 4 passengers per taxi, so if you are more than 4, you need to get 2 cabs.  Rest well in your respective hotels and make sure you are rejuvenated and ready for your exciting day in Singapore.

Day 1 (Fun filled day at Universal Studios and Sentosa)

7am to 8am:  Set your alarm to wake up around 7am.  Wear your cap, shades, short/bermudas, rubber shoes.  Pack your camera, extra shirt and towel in your lightweight backpack.   Let's prepare to conquer Singapore!

8am to 830am:  Travel by taxi or train to Vivo City.  If your hotel is just around the central area, it will only take 15 minutes to travel by taxi and 20 minutes by train.  If you are traveling by train, single journey tickets are available at the automated ticket counters in all MRT stations.  Make sure to click Harbour Front Station as your destination when buying your single journey tickets.

Taxi: approximately S$10.00 per cab
MRT: approximately S$2.20 per trip/person (one dollar deposit you can refund at the next station)

830am to 930am:  Right outside Harbour Front Station is Vivo City, one of the biggest shopping centers in Singapore.  Start your day with a traditional Singaporean Breakfast at Toast Box, just a few steps away from the station.

6pm to 7pm: Dinner either inside Universal Studios or outside.  If you are on a tight budget, you can try Casa del Wild (Madagascar), Loui's Pizza Parlor (New York) or Mel's Drive In (Hollywood) .   I personally recommend Hollywood China Bistro if you want to spend a bit more on authentic Centonese Cuisine.  There's a lot of choices outside Universal Studios as well.  Chili's just outside the park is at the top of my list.
