River Safari Opens in 2012

Singapore indeed has a great fascination for wildlife.  Next year, another wildlife park will hit the Island and join the ranks of the already very successful Singapore Zoo, Jurong Bird Park and Night Safari as the highly anticipated River Safari opens its doors to the public come 2012.

Themed after the famous rivers around the world, River Safari will like the Singapore Zoo have animals walk, fly, crawl swim in their natural habitat.  From the drawings on the website, seems like there will be boat rides cruising along the river where you can see the animals around probably similar to Night Safari and also lots and lots of aquariums.

It will be very interesting to see these amazing creatures in this one of a kind river park.  The Polar Bears from the Singapore Zoo were also transfered here with a bigger home.  Another creature to watch out for are the Giant Pandas!  I am very excited to experience this, and I will try my very best to visit the park on its first day of opening!
