Food Feast At The Bay!

Photo from chroniclesofbreathe.blogspot.com
Surrounded by the most notable icons like the Esplanade Theaters, Marina Bay Sands, Merlion and The Singapore Flyer, its a dining experience thats a feast to eyes and your stomach as well!  Glutton's Bay also known as Makan Sutra is one of my top choices for seafood and some local delights.

Open only for dinner probably around 6pm until midnight.  This open air, festive looking dining place is home to some of the great dishes here in Singapore.  Packed each and every night, this place is enough to occupy an army of hungry tourists.

Go and try some of the signature seafood dishes like the Black Pepper Crab, Sting Ray and Crispy Baby Squid from one of the Seafood Stalls.  They only have two and they are beside each other, I find the one on the right a lot better so make sure to queue on that stall.  The queue might take a while, around 10 to 15 minutes and the food might take around 20 minutes to come out.  So while waiting, try the Satay Barbecue or the chicken wings just along the same stretch.

Drinks?  The drink store serves a variety of canned soda, water chestnut, bandung and iced lemon tea.  Oh.. they serve beer too.  Try Tiger Beer!  The stall staff are very friendly and the ambiance is generally fun!  After eating, take a stroll around the Marina Bay and be mesmerized by the view of the city at night!  Enjoy!

Black Pepper Crab - around S$32.00
Sting Ray - around S$20.00 good for four
Crispy Baby Squid - around S$20.00 good for four
Satay stick - around S$7.00 (10 sticks good for four)
Chicken Wings - around S$1.50 each

Tiger Beer - around S$6.00 per can
